Diversity and Inclusion Committee
“Our mission is to raise awareness about the rich fabric of the FAA community and ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone (children, families, teachers, and staff). We believe that when we honor, support, and strengthen our diversity, we also create a sense of belonging where everyone can thrive and flourish.”
The Diversity and Inclusion Committee of The French American Academy is committed to fostering a learning environment where racial, ethnic, economic, gender and other differences are not an impediment to growth and achievement and where diversity is appreciated and celebrated.
- The diversity committee serves independently from the PTO, advising the school, making recommendations, creating events that support a diverse and inclusive culture.
- FAA administration reaffirms the school commitment to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee
- The committee supports FAA’s mission of education and is here to help strengthen/enhance the triangle of “Administration – Teachers-Parents”
