Our campus offers a vast and spacious outdoor natural environment. And pre-K and K students can enjoy a fenced playground with equipment. Also the 1st graders and up play soccer, football, basketball, and more on a large field. Next the one-floor building is equipped with a gymnasium, library, cafeteria, kitchen and a lab room. Finally the spacious, light-filled atmosphere creates a spirit of positivism felt throughout the campus. Outside, students enjoy a playground, lawns and trees – green, sprawling acreage nestled within a residential community.
New Milford campus is quiet. However, our students body is composed of more than 30 nationalities and, as a result, drive huge energy and diversity. Therefore, our international student population offers a sharp contrast with this New Jersey Borough. For example, check out this video that has been produced, directed by our own staff. And the characters are not fictional but real students enjoying their life at school.
The French American Academy’s campus location is in New Milford. And if you are looking for space, then it is a great place to live. New Milford is located in Bergen County, 20 minutes from the Georges Washington Bridge. It is also 30 minutes from Harlem. Living in New Milford offers residents a dense suburban feel, with coffee shops, stores and parks. That is why many young professionals live here and most residents own their homes.
Now more than ever people look for the advantages of a house with a backyard. A place where children can play safely, quiet streets where you can take a walk, go biking or run for miles. Indeed people are rediscovering the charms of the suburbs with low population density. A quiet environment where life slows down. And this is exactly what you will find in New Milford: a quiet life in a natural environment.
