In-Person Summer Camp at the French American Academy

Program

• 8:30am Drop-Off
• 9:00am Start of a Day Camp in French
• 3:00pm Dismissal

Extended hours may be available depending on enrollment and CDC guidelines updates,

Activities

• Art & Craft in French
• Games & French Oral Workshop lead by an experienced French teacher
• Reading & Story Time in French
• Trips to Hamilton park to move and exercise safely outdoor

Our Summer Theme is “Myths & Legends” broken down into different myths and legends each week.

Groups

We offer at least two age groups

• Lil’ Camp for Pre-K students (3-5 years old & potty-trained children)
• Immersion Camp (6 & up)

*Week 2 July 6-9 is a four-day week due to July 5th being closed for July 4th Observance

Multiple Weeks Discount  Note that if you register multiple weeks, a 10% built-in discount is applied (See table above)

Sibling Discount  10% off the registration of the second child (Non FAA Student only)

FAA Student Discount  20% off registration for any child enrolled in one of our FAA campuses either in June 2021 and/or in September 2021 (See conditions on your FAA Parent Portal).

Virtual Summer Camp : a safe alternative

For those who prefer to stay home, we also offer an online option with our Bilingual Summer Camp. Our Distant or Virtual Summer Bilingual Camp offers your child a chance to be exposed to both French language and culture in a laid-back and engaging way. Not only, we offer a bilingual setting, but each camper will be part of a small group with peers of his age. As a result, best learning practices and super fun activities can be implemented. For example, each activity will offer the possibility for beginners to learn words and new concepts in both French and English.  Also, it will allow French-speaking children to talk, write, play and make scientific discoveries in both languages. In fact, it will be just like in our live streaming option at school, but with a LOT more fun!
