Discover our Distant Summer Camp
Our Distant Summer Bilingual Camp offers your child a chance to be exposed to both French language and culture in a laid-back and engaging way. Not only, we offer a bilingual setting, but each camper will be part of a small group with peers of his age. As a result, best learning practices and super fun activities can be implemented. For example, each activity will offer the possibility for beginners to learn words and new concepts in both French and English. Also, it will allow French-speaking children to talk, write, play and make scientific discoveries in both languages. In fact, it will be just like in school, but with a LOT more fun!
Benefits of Distant learning camp
We often hear that Virtual camp is not the same than regular summer \camp filled with hands-on activities and time spent outdoor playing with their newly-made friends!
Yes, you are right, it will be not the same. But, as a matter of fact, there are ways where it can be better. For example, remote camp provides safety that you might want for your children during Covid-19. It might also give an opportunity for shy kids to express themselves better than in-person. For a full list a benefits, visit our page on Remote learning.
Campers will stay active ! Yes, our French-English Camp will start everyday with gym or physical activities. That way, children will stay connected with their own bodies! Next, you will receive a kit for your children to use during the camp. We will make sure that, just like the in-person camp, you never hear the sentence “I don’t know what to do…” during our program.
Parents also say that they don’t want their kids to spend more time on screen, and that it is too much work on top of full-time jobs
Did you know that not all screen time is the same? Check our Remote learning page to know more about it.
Our teachers are experts in distant learning and they are able to offer children the best education and the most engaging activities with minimal involvement from parents. Whit our program, you will have about 3 full hours to do your work while your kids are learning and playing with friends in the safe environment of your own home.
